The Triflo Pit Pump is a submersible, closed impeller unit with a two, three or four inch output. Its portability and efficiency make it ideal for oil drilling rigs, chemical plants, flood control, horizontal drilling, river crossing or sludge handling applications. All steel construction assures low maintenance and long service life. There are no impeller seals and the submerged bearings are protected by a packing gland. The section is on the upper side of the case, therefore allowing "The Woody" to rest on the bottom of the pit
